| I have no thought whether or not the clean power really does anything to improve the picture quality I see from my projector (I doubt it does), but if it does, it's really just a bonus. I mounted the projector for my home theater to the ceiling and needed a surge protector that I could plug into the outlet I had installed on the ceiling because I wasn't about to lose my projector the first time we had a lightning storm. This screws into the small screw in the middle of the outlet holding it in, so I'm more than pleased with it knowing that it's protecting the projector and it's not going to randomly fall off the ceiling at any point. In the $20-range it's cheap enough that if the clean power thing happens to be helping the image quality, all the power to it. |

| This is a fantastic item, works fantastic for the tv and PS3 in my bedroom. Be aware though, there are two ground prongs on the back of the plug, it will require both spaces on a duplex receptacle. |

| If you don't have room for, don't need, or can't afford multiple-outlet clean-power strip devices, go with this one. It is compact and inexpensive. I use the two outlets for my TV and surround sound receiver, and use a standard power strip from another outlet for the rest of my devices. |
Works well but a few minor complaints

The power center works well allthough I have not had any electrical storms or faults to truly test it yet. The few areas that I would take issue with are
1)the outlets in my house are the rectangular "designer" kind with no screw in the middle. The AV 200 uses a screw in the center to secure it to the wall outlet. I have not had issues with it falling out but could be a problem.
2) Would not fit behind my main TV because of the tight space between the outlet on the wall and where the TV is hung.
3) As with all Monster Power products I have, the recepticles are extremely hard to insert a plug into. I guess it is better then falling out but they need to find a pleased medium between not falling out and forcing in. |
