| I've been told it is best to have a surge protector of more than 3200 Joules to reasonably protect electronic equipment from lightning strikes. This unit has a 3380 Joule rating. 6' cord is fine and 8 plug-ins are more than enough for me. Unit is honestly compact and simply-designed. |

| The new treadmill I bought mandates an adequate surge protector be used (makes sense considering the electronics involved). Since I've got an LCD TV and a separate speaker system connected to the same outlet (no sense being bored while you're exercising!), I wanted a small heavier-duty surge protector than the standard type. This Belkin unit has satisfied all of my needs. I mounted it on the wall just below the TV and speaker system, and now I can turn them all ON or OFF with one button on the surge protector. Excellent value for the price. |

| Just bought this from Dell. It was $3 cheaper. Plugs fit in firmly. Plenty of room for large AC adapter plugs. Flat right angle plug is very helpful. Monster products has the same thing. I'm pleased with this item |
